Five Shots: Backyard Drama Tonight a lightning storm came through the valley in AZ, and I took these shots looking out out my backyard toward Sycamore Canyon. It’s hard to capture lightning! Reply I like the bottom two photographs. Reply Thank you–they were hard! I sat there for an hour trying to “catch” a bolt. I must have taken a hundred pictures before I caught a few. Glad you stopped by! 🙂 Reply I think capturing a bolt is incredibly hard. It always makes you feel good when you have a couple good ones. You’re welcome. I like checking out your posts! Reply Good work on capturing those lightning strikes! Reply Thanks! It took forever. I ought to figure out the device on my camera that allows me to take several simutaneously. Oh, where did I put that user manual… Reply Wow, those are great shots! My fave is the last one, very dramatic Cindy! Reply Ta! It took forever to “catch” it! Reply I personally know how difficult it is. I was guessing when to push the shutter. More times then not I was off by a Micro second. I was using panoramic setting thinking that would give me a bettor chance. You did well capturing the bolts you did. Congrads and please….. if there is anyone out there with a bettor idea of how to do this ….let me know! Reply No kidding! Pure luck–so many multi-legged bolts I missed….;) Reply Damn, Cindy that is some back yard! Also the pics look cool 🙂 Reply Yeah, every day after work it’s awesome to chill with a beer and watch the sun set. Reply I ♥ comments. Cancel reply Enter your comment here...
