Since moving out to Arizona, I have met more Midwesterners and transplants from the Northeast and their number one reason for relocation was to escape the frigid, long winters. I understand. Still, it’s fun to romanticize the season with fond memories of warm fireplaces, sipping scotch, and hybernating with family and friends. Let’s forget about the shoveling, driving, freezing, and cabin fever. Here are five shots of snowfalls. Can you guess where I am?

Beautiful!! I love the ‘Whereβs my car?’ pic. Ha!!
The last time I experienced snow was in 2005.

I was afraid moving out to AZ I would miss out on the seasons, too. Not the big snow like the pictures I’ve shared, but we will get a couple of inches and the mountain tops are snowpeaked. It’s cold enough for fires and yet by the afternoon, a perfect 55 degree sunny day for a hike. Thanks for the visit!

Wellll CIndy … we got a blizzard today here in Calgary. Happening on the worst day one can occur: Monday. Accidents everywhere – storm warnings out. Snow can be beautiful, but I sometimes wish I was still on Vancouver Island. Doesn’t snow much there.
