Congratulations on your book! I think it’s a heck of an achievement to write a book. Got one I started .. don’t know that it will ever get done. I love that modern media and tech has allowed writers to get their work out. In ages past it was a major event to publish a book. Yet maybe todays mass of media still makes it hard to get exposure??
It’s highly unlikely to obtain an agent who then is able to pitch to a publishing company and secure a contract. If you write and self publish, it’s a fine personal accomplishment. Chances are slim you become “famous” or attain financial self-sufficiency. But it doesn’t hurt to try! 😉
Funny, I’ve been trying to write this second novel for almost a year and my progress is slow because I blog too much! Of course, the blogging creates visibility and it’s wonderful to belong to a community of like-minded folk who appreciate one’s hobbies.
