Five Shots: Butterflies and Hummingbirds

Outside on the deck enjoying two visitors. Here are some of my favorite shots of them. Which picture do you like best?

  1. Spectacular shots, Cindy. And are the lilacs truly in blossom by you? If I were a butterfly, I would plant myself on one of the bushes and not fly again until every one of those flowers had disappeared. The perfume is so heady, I can only imagine what the nectar must be like. Butterfly drugs.
And the hummingbird shots are stunning as well.
    Spring is here!

  2. Cindy, once again these are fabulous. You have such a great eye. I wishhhhh we were getting some spring weather. So wet and damp here. But at least I can look at these pictures and know it is on the way! 😉

  3. Love the upside down butterfly. It’s not easy to capture the butterfly, I tried photographing the ‘Ulysses Blue’, in Kurranda, Australia (back in June 2008), I couldn’t get a single clear picture with a still butterfly. They move swiftly and nonstop. WELL DONE!!!
