Yes, I agree! It also features Anthony Hopkins in his first film feature. I’ve seen a version of the play, but not the film adaptation. It was one of those I missed along the way. So I’m glad to be looking at it now with older eyes.

I haven’t seen it for a long time, but I love this film. If I get the time, I wouldn’t mind having an excuse to watch it again. 🙂

Ah, I should try to remember to do this! I half-watched this on TV a while back, but missed some important points (I followed enough to enjoy the lead performances, of course). I should dust off that ex-rental DVD I have lying around of this somewhere…

i just got my copy. will wait until the 12th to watch it,so as to keep my mind fresh. ill probably watch a dozen or so movies between then and now and dont want my responses blurred.
