In London, our group meandered over to the Eye while watching the Thames River and the street performers entertaining crowds of people. One was a Pied Piper who made gigantic bubbles for the children to run after and catch. It worked on this kid, too, for I was enthralled with the colors and size of the wobbling bubble floating like some alien space ship.

I stood and stared at it. It rolled in the air, and the crowds disappeared and the London afternoon was quiet for one brief moment. Then, pop!
Such an unusual subject, and the colours inside the bubble are lovely. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete. x

Thanks, what to say about London? All my shots seemed typical and ordinary. I pulled this out because it made me think of an isolated moment on the trip when I felt calm and collected among the crowds. Glad you liked it, Pete.

It’s hard to find something out of the ordinary, when visiting a well-know city. You managed to do that. x

Thank you! The man who made the bubbles was pretty special. The kids loved watching him create these monstrous bubbles.

It was a great time. A dream, now. I can’t believe it was a month ago we were in London and Scotland. 😦

Thank you very much, John. It was a bubble right out of Star Trek. Very alive and translucent.

Translucent was the word I couldn’t come up with – exactly!
